Monday Morning Sports: Homeboykris

For Monday Morning sports I can’t help but draw a parallel for our own lives from the horse Homeboykris who won the first race at Pimlico over the weekend then died. He won the race, went to the winner’s circle, got his pictures taken and then on the way back to the paddock he died. While it is very sad to see a beautiful animal like that die, I can’t help but think that life doesn’t get any better than that. Doing what you were created to do, leaving it all on the field, then moving on as a champion. If I could write my own ending, this one sounds pretty good to me!
