Just finished “Song Of Autumn Sky” a 30×48″ oil on canvas painting. The drama of the sunset sky with the tree color beginning to change Song Of Autumn drew me to paint this piece. The first hint of snow, not quit blanketing the mountains but a sign of things  to come, define these beautiful peaks. Autumn is one of my favorite times of year, I love it when you can feel the change in the air, seeing the Elk move from the high country to their winter home and the bear preparing for a nice long nap. (The Grizzly I painted in this piece moved through the meadow quickly – he’s hiding behind the trees!)
