Prayer strengthens my faith.

(In this week’s blog, I wanted to focus on prayer. Rather than write about prayer, I’m giving you an affirmation regarding prayer. Let this sink in by reading daily for a week, and let God transform you by changing how you think about prayer.)

Prayer Affirmation

I speak with God during my high times and my low times. Prayer solidifies my relationship with God and increases my belief in His power.

Inviting God into my life is the norm for me. I speak to Him through my spirit and also my words. Having regular conversations with Him tightens our bond. It reminds me that He guides me as I reach out to Him.

Prayer leads me to trust my Loving Heavenly Father instead of myself. It takes me to a point of consciousness where I know the source of my strength.

Any financial challenge that I face is manageable when I pray. Talking to God allows me to release myself from the burden. When I pray, I cast my cares on Him and know He instantly takes my burden. God is always faithful, and He never fails me.

When I’m under attack, prayer calms me down and helps me live in the faith that everything will work out in God’s perfect timing. Prayer helps me stay focused on Him instead of my troubles. It also grounds me with the knowledge that no matter what comes my way, God is my strength, and His plans for me are good.

Sometimes, I am unable to see the way in front of me. But when I see things unfold and appear before me through prayer, I praise God immediately for His blessings. I am thankful for the power of prayer. I know that God hears my prayers and will answer them according to His perfect will.

No matter what my situation is today or tomorrow, I can be sure that God is with me every step of the way through prayer. He never fails me and always protects me. My faith increases when I turn to Him.

Each answered prayer reinforces my trust. I believe that anything that I take to Him is already resolved in Him. When the outcome is different from my request, I trust His answer.

Today, praying to God reinforces my belief in His control over my life. His guidance is unmistakable. I use my regular conversations with God to guide me through this life.

Self-Reflection Questions:

  1. How do I know when my prayers are answered?
  2. How much of my prayer time is dedicated to giving thanks?
  3. What are some of the blessings that appear through my faith in God?
