In the Mountain Oyster Club

The Mountain Oyster Art Show is one of the oldest and best known contemporary western art shows in the country.  For forty three years both emerging and established western artists have shown their works in the historic setting of the Mountain Oyster Club.  Each year there are approximately 200 artist participants representing over 400 works seen by the public for the very first time.

Art sales are conducted on a fixed price lottery system.  At 5:30 PM uncontested intents to purchase art will be declared sold and a drawing will be held to determine the winner in accordance with show rules when an intent to purchase a work of art bears contesting signatures.  From that point on, any unsold items will then be sold on a “first come” basis.  All art will remain at the Mountain Oyster Club until the first week of January at which time they may be picked up or shipped at purchaser’s expense.
