Just getting this one started, almost blocked in, I still need to mess with the composition a little. This is from a plien air sunset I did a couple nights ago at the Santa Cruz river.

How much do you “block in” before you start laying on paint? Are you systematic about it or does it depend on the painting? (Post your response below)
