I love discovering something that is Turnkey, especially when it comes to processes or systems. To think that there would be a Turnkey solution for living a Rich and Satisfying Life seems like, well, Ponce De Leon discovering the Fountain of Youth! How could this be possible? Simple, it’s a matter of who said it – Jesus: “The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.” (John 10:10 NLT).
There is a stark difference between the thief who takes life and Jesus who is the life-giver. And the life that He gives is “rich and satisfying” here and now on this earth and it lasts forever. Turnkey? Yeah, because He provides complete forgiveness of all of my guilt, shame and sin of the past. He gives me power for living today and hope for the future.
Beyond What You Imagine
This life is not only as good as it can be, but life beyond what you can imagine. “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us…” (Ephesians 3:20 NIV) It is a depth of living that fulfills one’s potential, and a terrible price was paid for you to live in this privilege.
This Rich and Satisfying Life is not to be confused with a life that denies having problems or pain. Instead it is a life that in the face of problems and pain realizes peace and strength. At the very core, regardless of the ups and downs, lives in pure joy. “Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.” (James 1:2-4 NLT) Living in pure joy regardless of your circumstances knowing that God is developing your Life Palette so that ultimately you will live as His masterpiece.
The Key To Turnkey
The turnkey system for a the Rich and Satisfying Life that God has prepared for you is always found in one simple thing; trust. Trust Him in every situation: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.” (Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT)
