Success Is Infact For Everyone

Success Is For Everyone In my book Life Palette I said “your success or failure will be a direct result of your Life Palette.” Since that is the case it is important that each of us knows how to develop our Life Palette to live in success. As you read this blog today know this, success is for everyone. Each of us is created as God’s masterpiece. He has designed and planned for us to live our lives successfully toward that end. Here are 3 “Must” to live in success:

1.      I Must Know My Purpose For Success

Success hinges on whether or not you know and understand your life purpose; this has to be a part of your Life Palette. How do you come to a working knowledge of the life purpose God has given you as His masterpiece? Take a look at your passions and desires. Consider your natural talents and spiritual gifts. Think about the opportunities that you have before you.  In Life Palette I wrote it this way: “What do you dream about? What is that passionate longing that’s always been there but you just can’t shake it. It’s the kind of dream that haunts you; you want it so much it keeps you up at night. It’s the dream you’ve whispered prayers about, hoping desperately God would answer with a “yes” or that He would miraculously change your life to sync up with your dream.”

2.      I Must Continue To Grow

Your potential is masterpiece living. You must grow to reach your potential every day. You do this by developing your strengths on your Life Palette. In my book I wrote it this way: “You’ve heard the phrase, “Jack of all trades, and master of none.” For most people, that’s how they live their lives. Yet trying to be good at many things will cause you to miss out on being great. The reality is you can’t do it all, nor should you want to. Instead, as you focus on doing and being what God has created you to accomplish and become, you’ll discover that living in your strengths is ultimately the most fulfilling way to live.”

3.      I Must Add Value To Others

This is the Biblical principle of sowing and reaping. Are you adding value to the lives of those you interact with on a daily basis? We understand the importance of this intuitively by whom we love to be around because of the simple fact that they add value to our lives, be it by giving joy, making you feel better about yourself or challenging you to grow. Make it a part of every relationship you have – add value – look for ways to do this – and you will pave the way for your success.

 Next Steps:

  1. Have a clear understanding of your life purpose. Take time to clarify it by asking yourself “what do I dream about and have always dreamed about?”
  2. Do you have a personal growth plan? Write it down. If developing a five year or one year growth plan is too much for you right now, start with one month at a time.
  3. Think about how you can add value to every relationship in your life; make it a conscious goal to do so throughout your day.
