The weather in Tucson has been amazing this winter. I’m sorry for those of you who live in other parts of the country where the opposite has been the case. So, I have been trying to get out and paint in plein air as much as possible. The picture is of a couple of plein air pieces I have completed and entered into the upcoming Arizona Plein Air Painters show.

Plein Air And Social Media

It’s so important for an artist to paint from life. While I love being in and painting in my studio, there is nothing better than painting in pelin air. It’s kind of like social media, I love connecting with everyone on different social media venues, but at some point I have to get with people to build face to face relationships.
