If we are going to reach the potential that we know is a part of our DNA, we must never stop growing! Never!!! That’s it, that’s the secret to ensuring we reach our potential: Growth. We are either growing toward our potential today or we are drifting further from it. We must make an intentional decision to grow every day. Every day that we allow ourselves to drift off course we open the door to drifting to a point of no return. We feel like a day won’t matter, then a week doesn’t seem to matter, a month, a year – only to discover ourselves looking back at a lifetime of unfulfilled potential and regret.
You are not that person – you are not a drifter. The fact that you are reading Life Palette tells me that you are a person who is staying in the fight to reach and live your life as a masterpiece, to live out your potential. And when you choose a life of growth your potential is limitless.
Choose Growth As A Lifestyle
Growth is not automatic…it’s a choice. Age does not in and of itself bring personal growth. You can remain immature and unwise your entire life. Growth is the choice to improve yourself and ultimately your life. It is a choice to improve everyone’s life that you come in contact with every day because you are growing to become a better person – a masterpiece – that you were designed by God to be. You cannot force growth on others, but you can improve yourself and as you do you will be amazed at how you will raise the level of living of others and of your circumstances.
Bottom line: Growth is the secret to reaching your potential and growth only happens when you intentionally make growth a choice. You may not know what that looks like completely for you in your area of expertise or passion – but make up your mind this very moment – “I am choosing growth as a lifestyle”. Then prayerfully ask God to give you wisdom and strength to begin navigating this life of perpetual growth.
Great Company
This simple choice/commitment puts you in great company. Paul the apostle in the Bible wrote: “I keep working toward that day when I will finally be all that Christ Jesus saved me for and wants me to be.” (Phil 3:12 NLT)

Remember you can’t drift your way to growth, you can’t coast your way to growth – in fact you can only coast downhill.
