Grace is the best deal ever! Period! To grab a hold of this truth you need to understand the difference between mercy and grace. Mercy is when God doesn’t give us what we deserve, which is punishment. Grace is when God gives us what we don’t deserve, which is blessings.  Grace is a priceless gift to you from the master artist, God. Grace is the gift that allows you to live life as the masterpiece He created us to be. It truly is the best deal ever! “God, with undeserved kindness, declares that we are righteous. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.”  (Romans 3:24)

Done, Not Do

You could safely summarize what God has done for you as His masterpiece in one word: “done”.  You can’t live as the masterpiece He created you to be by “doing”. Masterpiece living is based on what’s already been “done” for you.  It was “done” by Jesus on the cross. You are never going to get a better deal than this. And, it’s a free gift.

Grace = Masterpiece

Living life as the masterpiece God created you to be is not based on performance, rather it is based on God’s promises. It’s not based on how good I am, it’s based on God’s grace. The sad thing is that many people are trying to work their way to God, working to try and please Him. You need to see that He is pleased with you because of grace. His grace is what makes you a masterpiece. You are not a masterpiece because of your performance or achievements; it’s because of His grace.

Better Performance And Achievements

As you receive and live in His grace, your life will start to reflect the masterpiece life that He has for you. Your performance and achievements will begin to reflect masterpiece living. It’s part of the blessing of living in His grace.
